About Custodo

Custodo began as one person's answer to a stubborn, ordinary problem: the maintenance history of the things you own lives everywhere except where you need it. Receipts in a drawer, part numbers in a text thread, the date of the last oil change somewhere in the back of your mind.

Where it started

It started as a personal tool called Maintenance Logger, a single place to record the upkeep of a small fleet of boats, engines, vehicles, trailers and equipment. The goal was modest: never again guess when something was last serviced, what part went into it, or what it cost.

What it became

One register turned into the whole picture. Assets and the engines inside them, service logs with the exact parts they consumed, a real parts inventory, schedules that warn you before something is due, fuel, total spend, and every receipt and document attached where it belongs. The kind of record that is actually worth keeping, because you can find anything in it.

Why "Custodo"

As it grew useful beyond one garage, it became Custodo, from the idea of a custodian: someone who takes care of what they own. It is built for anyone with more than one thing worth maintaining, whether that is a boat and a truck, a workshop full of equipment, or a household of machines.

How it's built

Custodo is built deliberately and looked after by hand, the same way it asks you to treat your assets. Your records are yours: private by default, exportable to CSV on every plan, and meant to outlast any single app. Maintenance, logged.
