Privacy Policy
Custodo (custodo.co) is a maintenance register for the assets you own. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have over it. We keep it short and in plain language.
1 · What we collect
To run your register, Custodo stores the information you enter, and little else:
- Account data: your name and email, and a one-way hash of your password (we never store the password itself).
- Fleet data: the assets you add and the service logs, parts, schedules, fuel records, photos and documents you attach to them.
- Operational data: basic logs and diagnostics needed to run the service securely and fix problems.
2 · How we use it
Your data is used to provide the service: to show your register, calculate spend, send the reminders you opt into, and generate the reports you request. We do not sell your data, and we do not use the contents of your fleet records for advertising.
3 · Sharing
Your records are private to your account by default. They leave it only when you choose to, for example by exporting a PDF or CSV. We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers, such as hosting and email delivery, who process data on our behalf under their own data-protection terms.
4 · Your data, your control
You can export everything to CSV at any time, on every plan. You can delete individual records, or your entire account; deleting your account removes your fleet data from our active systems.
5 · Security
Traffic between you and Custodo is encrypted in transit with TLS, and passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing (argon2id), never in plain text. Access to our systems is authenticated and restricted. No service can promise perfect security, but we treat your maintenance history as the long-lived record it is meant to be.
6 · Children
Custodo is intended for adults. Accounts are for users aged 13 and over, and the service is not directed at children.
